After a few long months of being away Im back.


Its amazing how the avaerage day to day grind , nine to five fiction that's considered life can , if you let it, suck the soul out of you.

It starts so innocently. Day one new job, ideas of security, medical plan, stable salary even maybe a regular deposit into ones savings.

Its a lie.

what really happens is , rising before the sun, traffic for a 45 mins...somewhat stressful yet so obviously pointless next eight or nine ours , face traffic for another 45 mins. Eat sleep , back again once more. A as grand as corporate might seem all it is , is a never ending nightmare. This relentless and purposeless wheel that we run on, telling ourselves all the while that were making progress. Even if that were true To what end , what is the the point of progress with out passion anyway.


The scary thing is that if one had to stick at the whole farce , it wouldn't , I beileive, Take longer than a few short months before one actually becomes convinced that the whole great lie is gospel. Sigh... and it happens , it happens to people every day. See that chap in the traffic, with those tension lines etched around the eyes and the mouth, that perpetual sneer, that haunted broken look in eyes. That fellow is not some zombie (well he is , but hey didn't start that way at least) , that poor fellow was like you , with all your hopes, dreams , ambitions , zest and fervour, but alas one day a few short years ago he settled , he belived the corporate bs , the soceities propganda and now... well theres nothing left.


The point im getting at , is that its so , so , so easy to slip like that, to kill your own soul, to destroy your passion, its so easy because everyone in a soceity considers this as the right thing. Get a job, work hard , make money. What a crock.... Money the marvellous , wondrous thing that is. Is just a another tool , not the ultimate goal.

Don't do it ... be an artist , be passionate , otherwise soon you'll be just another one of those people that populate the world but never see any of its color.

Maybe im wrong , but then again maybe , just maybe , im right....
